Institutional Program Policies
Our policy has always been to have the guaranteed lowest price on all baby and child items. We have extended that policy to childcare centers, pediatric hospital wards, foster care and community centers, and any organization that serves the needs of children, mothers and others. We offer special pricing* when possible on large quantity purchases and for repeat Institutional customers, even working with the manufacturer to get the best deal possible. *Special Pricing and Bulk Order Discounts: Institutional orders and accounts may be approved for pricing or shipping discounts. This is based on the factors of individual orders. This pricing cannot be combined with any existing sales, shipping specials, coupons, or other discounts.
Credit Cards: Credit card orders must include the correct, verifiable billing information or the order cannot be processed. (Billing address must be in the U.S. and its territories, Canada and Puerto Rico. International addresses can be accepted with an American Express.)
Purchase Orders:
- $300.00 inventory minimum, not including shipping and other fees
- Items that "drop ship" direct from the manufacturer must be prepaid
- Orders under $300.00 can fax a purchase order for invoicing purposes, but the item(s) must be prepaid before they ship
- In stock items on pre-pay orders will be held 10 working days. After 10 days, the inventory is released back to stock and availability cannot be guaranteed
Payment Terms:
- Net 30 days from date of invoice unless other arrangements are made
- Credit subject to approval
- 1.5% monthly late fee charged from 31st day
- No third-party payments accepted
To set up a new account, new Purchase Order customers must be verified and should include all applicable items:
- Purchase order with printed company name, address and information - no handwritten company information accepted
- Local phone book listing under business name
- Copy of your tax exempt certificate
- Correct billing information, including a phone number, should be provided for order confirmation
- Individuals with a child care or foster care center should provide a copy of their license to be verified through the state or should place their order through a verifiable government agency
Returns:
- For health and hygiene reasons personal items including, but not limited to, breast pumps, breast-feeding items, nursing bras, nipples, pacifiers, diapering & potty items, mattresses/pads, etc. cannot be returned once opened.
- Bulk purchases and special orders are not returnable or cancelable.
- Please open and inspect all items upon receipt. Any damages must be reported within 7 days.
- All returned items must be in the original condition w/ packaging, literature, warranty, and registration intact. Please enclose a copy of the original invoice stating the reason for return.
- Email your Institutional Program Manager, Liza Sivek, at L_Sivek@babycatalog.com or call 1-800-752-9736 x108 to obtain your return authorization number. Include your RA# on the shipping label only. Packages without an RA# will be refused by our warehouse. Do not write on the box or deface the product packaging.
- Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Shipping fees will not be refunded. For your protection, you may wish to insure the package when you mail or ship it back to us. BCA is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any returned merchandise
- Certain items will have a restocking fee deducted from the refund or credit. Please refer to individual item descriptions on the website for specifics. Any items being returned that are over 30 days from the date received are subject to a store credit refund upon approval. Any items that have been discontinued or marked as closeout are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged. A 10% restocking fee will apply to items being offered with Free Ground Shipping. This is in addition to the regular return policy.
- Software, cassettes, DVD's, compact discs, books, and special orders are not returnable.

- Items that are received with shipping damage will be replaced with the same item at no charge. If no replacement is desired, regular return guidelines will apply.
- In the unlikely event that you have a problem with a product, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the product before contacting us. Most of the items that we sell are backed by a manufacturer's warranty. If no replacement is desired, regular return guidelines will apply. The majority of manufacturers prefer to deal directly with the consumer to provide the fastest and least troublesome solutions. They will be able to determine if replacement parts or a replacement product needs to be sent.
- Britax and Colgate products: Babycatalog.com will service these warranties directly. If you experience a problem, please contact our customer service department. Under these warranties, the consumer will assume responsibility for the shipping costs incurred for returns and replacements.
- Please allow approximately 15 days for credits to be processed by BabyCatalog.com.
