Why do you charge $1 for Gift Messages?

Customers often ask us why we charge $1 to send a message along with a gift order. The reason is simple - and one with which you'll surely agree!

Many of our competitor's "thoughtfully" allow you to include a message with your gift at no charge. They can do this because they simply have a computer print out your heartfelt sentiments to go in the box with your gift.

At BCA, we believe this is very impersonal and does not properly acknowledge the thought and care behind your gift message. When you pay $1 for a gift message with us, one of our staff takes your sentiments and hand writes them onto an actual small gift card. This hand inscribed card is then sent along with your gift. Because of the time and care that goes into conveying your gift message to the recipient, and due to the volume of gift orders that we process, we need to charge a very nominal fee for this service.

We know you'll agree that presentation of your gift and gift message are important; and this importance certainly outweighs the small gift message fee!

If you are having your order gift wrapped before shipping, the gift card and message (and a bow) are included in our gift wrapping fee.
